BACKGROUND

Darul Izzah Orphanage (DIO) was established in mid-1996 by Ustaz Hj. Idris Omar in Bandar Baru Bangi, Malaysia and now has over 31 male orphans between the age of 7 to 16 years old. A committee of volunteers currently manages "DIO" solely from public donations.

Students attending evening religious classes

Amongst the aims of "DIO" are to emplace orphans from poor family backgrounds under one roof & to fund their education in Public schools. Islamic studies are also given priority to ensure a balanced character. The total current monthly expenses amounts to RM10, 000.00.
Receiving gifts from corporate entities

"DIO" urgently needs financial support to fund the purchase of a 44-seater bus to transport the orphans to their schools and weekend outings. Donations are most welcomed and can be remitted in favor of "Pertubuhan Anak Yatim Darul Izzah"; Account no: 12029010016114 of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad - Bandar Baru Bangi Branch, Malaysia.
